What to Bring
Sand Dollar Island is a large sandbar exposed only at low tide. There are no shade and no concessions, and tidal pools range from ankle‑deep to neck‑deep. Sand dollars are most often found in and around these pools. Wear bathing suits and water shoes or flip‑flops.

• Shell bags for collecting dead sand dollars (available at the ticket booth)
Beach wagons or carts are permitted for an additional fee and must be under 36″ wide. Reservations are required and trips sell out fast. Infants (ages 2 & under) ride free but must be included in your reservation.
